Job Title: Sr Business Analyst
Location: Remote
Position Overview:
Heitmeyer Consulting is currently hiring a Sr Business Analyst to support work for a large, East Coast based bank. This position supports an internal consulting division within the bank related to their center of excellence.
Our client is in search of a Sr. level Business Analyst, with, experience owning and managing the business requirements effort in a large, formal Program/project team environment supporting project delivery functions from an execution perspective. Classic banking business analysis and experience are required. The Center of Excellence follows IIBA/BABOK standards for requirements gathering and solicitation.
Exceptional communication, influencing and partnership skills are mandatory as well as the ability to work on highly complex projects or programs with minimal management supervision.
- Knowledge & alignment to IIBA/PMI Business Analysis best practices
- Experience supporting projects related to credit cards
- Regulatory background and understanding preferred
- Experience with compliance and regulatory related projects specific to KYC functions preferred
- Expertise in requirement gathering/solicitation and stakeholder relationship management
- Previous Financial Institution experience is required – specifically on the business side supporting non-technical business analysis job functions within projects related to systems migration
- Stakeholder management in a matrixed environment is required
- Must have Strong facilitation skills
- Prior large Program work highly desirable
- Experience with creation/writing for internal process and procedure documentation
- 5+ years business analysis experience supporting project delivery
- Familiarity with current to future state gap analysis
- Experience working in Agile methodology with Jira/Confluence is required
- Business analysis accreditation/certification required
- A background in process improvement (Lean Six Sigma) and or change management is desirable
