Heitmeyer Consulting is currently seeking an Accounting & Finance Consultant for several client engagements.  All engagements are expected to be 3-6 months in duration and have the potential to extend beyond. These opportunities are fully remote.
Selected candidates will possess deep understanding of Account Reconciliation, Fed Reporting requirements and experience with FIS Data Integrity Manager.

Required Skills

• Design, implement, and manage reconciliation processes using FIS Data Integrity Manager (DIM)
• Experience with the Assessment of current reconciliation procedures/process, Propose Optimization strategies & help lead in execution of proposed strategies
• Configure DIM modules for high-volume, multi-source reconciliation (e.g., cash, trades, positions, GL balances)
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data integrity issues, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Develop test cases, perform UAT, and lead deployment of reconciliation solutions
• Maintain documentation and process flows in accordance with internal controls and SOX compliance
• Provide training and support to end-users on DIM functionality and reconciliation processes
• Stay updated with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in financial data reconciliation

Preferred Requirements

• Experience with FIS Data Integrity Manager (formally Intellimatch), FIS IBS Core, Fiserv Prologue GL Platform
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field (CPA or equivalent a plus)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting operations or consulting, with at least 2 years in FIS DIM or similar reconciliation tools
• Strong knowledge of financial reconciliation concepts and accounting principles
• Hands-on experience with financial data mapping, exception management, and reconciliation workflows
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
