Job Summary:
We’re seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support a high-impact collections system modernization initiative, kicking off in June. This multi-year effort, in partnership with the platform vendor, involves upgrading to a new version of CACS. The project will span multiple releases.

This is a critical role focused on requirements gathering, process mapping, documentation, and testing preparation. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with large-scale system upgrades or conversions in an enterprise setting, exceptional communication skills, and the confidence to drive conversations, clarify ambiguity, and help shape how the business operates in a new system landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end business analysis function for the collections upgrade initiative
  • Engage closely with business partners and technology teams to gather and refine requirements
  • Translate complex business processes into clear documentation, process flows, and gap analyses
  • Create detailed process maps and articulate the impact of system changes across workflows
  • Act as a key person for QA and testing: define and prepare test scenarios, identify edge cases, and validate functional requirements
  • Support integration across ~40 applications and ensure alignment across multiple stakeholders
  • Partner with internal leads and external vendor to facilitate smooth collaboration and delivery
  • Confidently challenge assumptions, identify risks, and coach business partners through the new system capabilities

Must-Have Skills:

  • Proven experience in enterprise system upgrades or conversions
  • Strong business analysis skills, with a deep understanding of business operations and stakeholder engagement
  • Experience performing gap analysis, process modeling, and documentation in complex environments
  • Ability to work through ambiguity and drive clarity with thoughtful, proactive questioning
  • Strong experience in preparing test scenarios and working closely with QA teams
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and influencing skills – assertive, yet collaborative

Nice-to-Have Experience:

  • Prior experience with CACS X or other collections systems
  • Banking or Financial Services domain experience
